NC Raga Revival

NC Raga Revival is a biweekly concert series showcasing the Music the South Asian Diaspora and collaborations with other World Music artists. These concerts are family friendly, no shoes, and no booze.

SEJAL vAIDYA

     Sejal Vaidya is originally from India and has lived in the US for past 10 years with her husband and her 8 year old son. She is a vocalist trained in North Indian (Hindustani) classical music. Her Guru, Pandit Niraj Parikh is a direct disciple of Pandit Jasraj. She has 12 years of training in the Mewati Gharana established by Pandit Jasraj, and has performed all over India, California and North Carolina. Her performances are focused around Khayal gayaki and Haveli Sangeet ( Classical devotional music). She also has imparted basic and advanced classical music training to students of all ages in India and US.
